We firmly believe that it is imperative for voters to have an accurate understanding of the position of ENONAC and the proposed East New Orleans Residential Parcel fee. Our community is deeply concerned with issues such as crime, access to quality health care services, job creation, economic development, and neighborhood revitalization. As a community based nonprofit, we believe it is our responsibility to facilitate discussion and raise awareness of issues deemed important to Eastern New Orleans (ENO) residents. A public forum is an effective means for all to share their vision regarding revitalization efforts for our community.


The East New Orleans Residential Parcel fee is special once a year (annual fee) in the amount of five dollars ($5) not to exceed ten dollars ($10) for four (4) years, beginning in 2013 and ending in 2016, improved or unimproved residential parcels located within the boundaries of east New Orleans for the primary object and purpose of promoting and encouraging the beautification, economic growth and overall betterment of east New Orleans. The propose parcel fee will be submitted to the public for approval by a majority of registered voters of the area voting on the proposition on December 8, 2012.


This unique neighborhood organizational structure serves as a unifying force for a shared vision and plan for our community sustainability. It is our goal to assist residents and businesses to create a vibrant, diverse and safe community that embraces innovation, new technologies, environmental quality and collaboration to reinvent ENO as a premier community in which to live, work and play.
